 Active Data Services inks deal with Cleveland Regional Medical Center
Morrisville, NC – November 30, 2007 -- Peter Ransome, executive vice president and CMO for Active Data Services, Inc., a business process outsourcing firm that captures, manages and distributes information for healthcare organizations, has announced that the firm has been contracted by Cleveland Regional Medical Center, a 261-bed facility located in Shelby, North Carolina, that features North Carolina’s first Level III trauma center. Under this contract, Active Data Services, Inc. will support the conversion of medical records into electronic media. Active Data Services, Inc. previously converted 4 million images in 65 days to the Active Data Services Vault, a Software as a Service (SaaS) retrieval system that provides secure online access to patient medical charts. The information is available only to authorized employees in the healthcare system. This conversion to electronic health records will increase effectiveness and convenience for all patient records, as well as enhance the security of all records. The resulting impact will be improved operational efficiencies resulting in lower costs and enhanced patient care and privacy.
