Morrisville, NC – February 8, 2006 -- Peter Ransome, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Active Data Services has announced that the firm has been contracted by The Castleton Group to develop a secure data vault for Castleton’s payroll and benefits records and will digitize Castleton’s existing paper records to be stored electronically in the vault. Employees at The Castleton Group’s offices in Cincinnati, Ohio; Asheville, N.C.; and Raleigh, N.C. will be able to securely access these records. By converting to electronic records Castleton will eliminate printing costs associated with paper records and will operate as a nearly paperless office.

“We are honored to be contracted by Castleton Group,” said Ransome. “At Active Data Services we are revolutionizing the way human resources records are stored, managed and secured. Through secure electronic records Castleton will save time and money associated with paper records.”

“By transitioning our payroll and benefit records from paper to electronic format, we will not only save costs associated with paper records, but will provide our employees the flexibility to access records from any office.” said Jay McLamb, partner at The Castleton Group. “Electronic records are the next step in operating our business at peak efficiency and will enable us to provide our clients with the top quality service they deserve.”
