 Susan Cotter is Vice President of Healthcare Services for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North
Carolina (BCBSNC) for Active Data Services. Inc, a business process outsourcing firm founded in
2002. Cotter brings more than fifteen years of experience in the healthcare industry to this role, 11 of which are in information management. As Vice President of Healthcare Services for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) she is responsible for the management and
oversight of all BCBSNC operations, including supervising Active Data Services' account
managers.
Her previous management experience includes the Customer Support Group at Lason Inc., where she supervised the company's healthcare sales group. Prior to working at Lason Inc., she managed Atlantic Documentation's Customer Service Division. Cotter began her work in the
healthcare field at Dataflow Inc.
Cotter obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church,
and volunteers with the church's youth group. She also volunteers with Be Active North Carolina,
a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health of all North Carolinians and Enloe
High School.
Susan resides in Raleigh with her husband and two sons.
